Death of a Salesman 

Good morning!

I found this feature written by David Mamet about the story behind Death of a Salesman. A very interesting read.

I've just read through Mamet's piece, and that left me feeling like an interested yet slightly confused and (more than slightly) annoyed and snubbed gentile. Maybe I had no right then to be moved by the Salesman, which he (and his wife Linda and sons Biff and Hap) actually accomplished to do several times over in different productions?

I've printed out the article for further perusal, probably in the bathtub this very evening. Now, Ginsberg is a 'friend' of mine, so I'll try to get hold of "America" to find out about Uncle Max as suggsted by Mamet.
